In 2015, the UN adopted 17 sustainable development goals affecting all aspects of our lives from climate change to the fight against poverty.<\/p>

Today, responsible companies have already integrated sustainability goals into their business strategy which attract the attention of customers and investors.<\/p>

Nowadays one of the main employees\u00b4 conditions for customer loyalty has become a responsible attitude to the environment.<\/p>

The new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Green Deal requires companies to report on the impact of corporate activities on the environment and society and requires the audit (assurance) of reported information. The purpose of the Green Deal is to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.<\/p>

Relevant actions towards a net zero economy:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Improving environmental performance in a targeted way with our ESG responsibilities to pursue the UN\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement by implementing KKP\u2019s Supplier Code of Conduct<\/a><\/strong><\/li>
  2. Develop a corporate greenhouse gas emissions inventory, incorporating scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3 emissions by creating a sustainability supplier questionnaire for our producers in order to involve them in climate actions and empower them to make sustainable choices.<\/li>
  3. Reducing carbon footprint and impact on climate change and in the long-term making the transition to a net zero economy. We calculated our\u00a0companies\u2019
    emissions<\/span>\u00a0for scopes 1 and 2 GHG Emission Inventory.<\/li><\/ol>
